About Washington Landscape Services LLC
East of Monroe, Highway 2 runs toward the pass between hills that hold their clouds all winter, and down on the flat the rain simply keeps at it. Washington Landscape Services LLC works with that weather instead of against it — mowing on the gray growing weeks when everyone assumes the season has closed, edging beds back to a clean shoulder, trimming whatever the wet has made unruly. Moss and windfall are the local facts of February, and yard cleanups exist to answer them. Then the long June light comes and the same lawns return thick, and the mowing settles into a weekly rhythm that carries clear to fall. The pleasure of it is the before and after, repeated all year, for Monroe and the towns strung along the highway.
