About Elizalde’s Construction and Maintenance LLC

When the east wind comes out of the Columbia Gorge in January, it reaches Minnehaha dry and cold and loud, and it strips the last of the leaves off the street trees in a single night. Elizalde's Construction and Maintenance LLC works the grounds through all of it — mowing and edging through the long green months, trimming and hedge work, and the cleanups that haul away whatever the wind delivers. The rest of the year the weather is mild enough that the grass barely rests, which makes a steady schedule worth more than any one big effort. Spring arrives early on this side of the river, and the first cut of the year is always the most satisfying one. After that it is simply keeping faith with the route.
