The Yard Buddha

About The Yard Buddha

There is a moment at the end of a Mead evening when the mower stops, the dust settles, and the yard simply stands there being finished. The northern hills go copper, the air cools off fast, and the lawn holds every line it was given. The Yard Buddha works toward that moment on purpose — mowing, edging until the border is a single unbroken line, trimming the corners until nothing is left ragged. Attention is the whole method: same yard, same care, week after week without drama. The stillness at the end of it is the reward.
