Duke's Lawn Care

About Duke's Lawn Care

East of Mead the Peone Prairie opens out in wheat, and by August the wind comes across it carrying dust and the smell of cut straw. Town yards sit in that same wind, drying at the edges, wanting a blade set high and a week that never gets skipped. Duke's Lawn Care keeps the appointment — mowing, edging the front walk, running the trimmer down the fence line so nothing goes shaggy. There is honest pride in a lawn that still looks tended in the hardest part of the summer. Come evening the swallows work the field line, and the yard is done for another week.
