About Boren Landscapes, LLC

McCleary wakes under a low grey lid, and at seven the fog is still lying in the swale where Wildcat Creek runs. Grass grows fast in that damp — an inch overnight in May, moss creeping the shady side of every north-facing yard. Boren Landscapes, LLC mows it back on a steady rhythm, edges the walks so the line stands sharp against the wet green, and trims the corners a mower can never quite reach. There is a plain pleasure in looking back at a lawn just cut in the drizzle, cedar dripping overhead and the rows still holding their shape. Ordinary work, done for neighbors, in a town small enough to notice it.
