About Martinez Landscaping & Construction LLC

Mattawa sits on the dry shoulder of the Wahluke Slope, where the Saddle Mountains hold the morning back and the Columbia runs cold and green below the bluffs. A lawn here is earned — a square of shade in a country of sage, sun and long wind. Martinez Landscaping & Construction LLC keeps those squares mowed close, edged clean, and trimmed tight against the walk, week after week through a summer that does not let up. There is real satisfaction in the last pass at midday, the stripes laid straight while the heat stands still over the vineyard rows. When the light goes orange out toward Desert Aire, the yard is finished and the evening belongs to whoever lives there.
