About Vanguard Land Services, LLC

From the streets on Everett's east-facing hillside, the Cascades catch the first light of a winter morning long before the rest of the city does, the peaks going pink while the blocks below are still gray and half-frozen. Vanguard Land Services, LLC works those hillside streets early in its snow removal route, clearing driveways that pitch steeply enough to need extra care and walkways that stay shaded well into the morning. The grade here means meltwater runs hard downhill rather than sitting still, so the crew watches for ice forming at the bottom of each block rather than just at the top. Once the hillside is clear, the same route drops down into the flatter streets below, working from the high ground toward the low. This is the part of Everett that sees the mountains first every morning, and the crew tries to be out ahead of that light, not behind it.
