About Scott's Turf and Tree LLC

Marcus is a town that once picked itself up and moved to higher ground when the Columbia backed up behind Grand Coulee Dam and became Lake Roosevelt. Today it looks down on that long blue reservoir, with ponderosa pines scattered over dry benches and timbered hills rolling away north toward Canada. Scott's Turf and Tree LLC handles turf and trees in this sunny corner of Stevens County, where summers run hot and grass needs tending to hold its color. Turf mowed even, trees trimmed back into shape, the yard made comfortable for long evenings by the lake. In late spring, when the reservoir is drawn low and its sandy banks show, the new green of a cared-for lawn looks especially vivid.
