About Jewell's Service & Maintenance

Saturday mornings at the Manchester dock the trailers back down one after another and the gulls make their opinions known. Jewell's Service & Maintenance is usually rolling by then with a mower on the trailer instead of a boat, working the neighborhoods above the water. The routine holds steady through the season: regular mowing, string trimming around posts and mailboxes, edging along the sidewalks, and hauling the clippings so nothing sits and yellows. Between the salt air and the long wet stretch, lawns near the shoreline ask for weed control and a little overseeding to stay thick. Done right, the whole street reads better for it, and that is where the pleasure in the work lives.
