About Whatcom Lawns

August in Lynden is dust on the road shoulder and the fairgrounds filling for the week — the one stretch of the year when a lawn here can genuinely go thirsty. Whatcom Lawns raises the deck, cuts less often, and lets the blade shade its own roots until the rain remembers the way back. Trimming, edge work and weed control carry on regardless, along with the sweep-up that keeps clippings off the walk. Come September there is aeration and overseeding, and turf thickens fast in the cool damp. Knowing what a yard needs in the hottest month is most of the trade.
