About Forest Tree Service LLC

West of town, where the Columbia flattens into the diked pastures around Willow Grove, rows of planted fir and cottonwood stand as windbreaks between the dairy fields and whatever weather comes up the river. Forest Tree Service LLC tends those lines and the bigger stands behind them, and when an ice storm bends a windbreak or drops a limb across a farm lane, the same crew that prunes them all summer comes back with chainsaws and a plow blade. Access roads through the bottomland get cleared first, since a blocked lane out there can mean a missed milking, and the debris gets hauled off before the next high water finds it. Out here, the work is timed to the herd as much as to the forecast.
