Jeff's Tractor Services

About Jeff's Tractor Services

North of Lewisville the ground opens into pasture, and on a May morning the fog sits in those fields until the sun clears Silver Star Mountain and burns it off in an hour. Jeff's Tractor Services works the big open ground out here, mowing acreage and field edges that a walk-behind would never finish, plus the trimming and clearing that keep a place from going to blackberry. Grass grows fast in this corner of the county, ankle to knee in a wet fortnight, so timing is most of the craft. Cut it at the right week and the whole property looks intentional again, fence line to tree line. It is honest work, done wide and done straight, and you can see every pass of it from the road.
