Wild Bunch Edible Landscapes

About Wild Bunch Edible Landscapes

The prairie is still down there under all of it — camas and Garry oak on the flat ground the ice left between town and the water at Waughop Lake, coming up blue in April while the rest of the state is still deciding. Wild Bunch Edible Landscapes works with that inheritance instead of against it, keeping the green tidy where green is wanted: mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization, weed control, aeration and seasonal cleanups. Much of the art is in the line itself — a clean edge that makes everything beyond it look deliberate rather than neglected. Weather here comes in long soft weeks rather than storms, and a lawn tended straight through them keeps a color that lasts most of the year. Lakewood is home ground, with work continuing on to Steilacoom, DuPont, University Place, Tacoma and Spanaway.
