About Local Landscaping LLC

By late October the wind comes up the lake at Sheridan Beach and strips the big-leaf maples in a couple of good afternoons, and half of Lake Forest Park wakes to a yard it does not recognize. Local Landscaping LLC meets that season head on — leaves off the turf, out of the corners, cleared from the walks, hauled away instead of shoved to the property line. Through the rest of the year it is the steady rhythm: mow, edge, trim the fence lines, keep the grass at a height that shrugs off the rain. Fall cleanup done properly is what lets a lawn come back thick in April rather than matted and gray. Working the same streets over and over means knowing which yards drain slowly and which hold their green longest. A cleared lawn under a bare maple, with the lake wind still going, is its own kind of finished.
