About Lake Forest Landscape Co. LLC

Lake Forest Park earns its middle name in the shade — cedars and firs lean over the ravines, and a June noon reaches the ground here in coins of light rather than sheets of it. Grass in that kind of shade grows thin, mossy, and slow, so Lake Forest Landscape Co. LLC gives it what it actually needs: aeration to open compacted ground, overseeding to fill the bare patches, and a mowing height set for a yard that never gets full sun. Between the ravines the lots roll and drop, and every one of them is cut, edged, and trimmed to its own shape rather than a standard one. Cleanups pull the needle drop and the winter debris out of the beds and off the turf. By midsummer a shade lawn treated this way holds a real, even green — the kind neighbors slow down for. Quiet work, done on a slope, in the dappled light this town is built under.
