About Sanchez Tree Services Company

South Sound weather is one long gray sentence from November to March, and Lacey reads it under fir, cedar and the Garry oaks left over from the prairie. Sanchez Tree Services Company works right through it — pruning oaks and maples while they are bare, trimming limbs off roofs before the wet turns heavy, removing the fir whose roots have run out of room beside a foundation. Along Woodland Creek and the lakes east of town the ground stays spongy, so the crew moves lightly and leaves a lawn the way it found it. When a system rolls up from the south and drops wood across a drive, the morning list starts with whatever is blocking a way out. Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, DuPont, Yelm and Nisqually are inside the same half hour.
