About DUCK WASH LLC
Before the stores along Hawks Prairie's retail strip open for the day, their lots sit under whatever fell overnight, wide open pavement with nothing but streetlight glare to show where the curbs are. Duck Wash works those lots early, plowing rows clear so the first shoppers and the delivery trucks both have somewhere safe to park by the time the doors unlock. Big open pavement like that loses heat fast overnight, and a lot that looked fine at closing can be sheeted in ice again by six the next morning. The crew clears lane by lane, banking snow along the lot's edges instead of letting it collect around the entrances. It's plain, early work, finished and forgotten by the time Lacey's morning traffic picks up along the prairie.
