About ANC Property Services

Hawks Prairie fills up early with commuter traffic headed north toward the base, and the apartment complexes and cul-de-sacs off the main road need to be clear well before that first wave of cars pulls out. ANC Property Services handles the shared driveways and walkways for a stretch of those properties, plowing lot by lot in the dark so residents heading to Joint Base Lewis-McChord or into Olympia aren't the ones breaking the first path through the snow. Prairie ground here holds cold differently than the wooded parts of Lacey, flat and open enough that frost forms evenly and doesn't melt off in patches the way it does under tree cover. The crew works the complexes in sequence, clearing walkways to each unit's door along with the lot itself, finished well before most of the buildings have their lights on for the day.
