About Rafael's Landscaping LLC

The Kent Valley grew rhubarb and lettuce on this bottomland long before it grew warehouses, and the soil still remembers: dark, silty, quick to green the moment March lets up. Rafael's Landscaping LLC opens its season down on that flat ground, where the first mow of the year is more haircut than trim. From then until the leaves are down the rotation holds steady, with mowing, string trimming along fences and posts, edging at the walks, and the clippings carried off. Spring here does not announce itself so much as arrive damp and all at once, and a lawn left alone two extra weeks will say so. Kept on schedule, that same lawn reads level and deliberate from the sidewalk, which is the entire point.
