About JC Nelson Lawn Service

Jenkins Creek runs through Covington under the alders, cold and steady, and the yards along that green corridor stay a shade darker than the rest of town. JC Nelson Lawn Service works its way through them on a set weekly round — mow, edge, trim, blow the walks clean, move on. By Friday the block reads as one long, tidy stretch of front lawns with the mower lines still showing. Beds are kept weeded so the shrubs hold their shape instead of disappearing into the growth. When the leaves come down in October, the same round becomes a raking round, and the grass gets to see light all winter.
