Gordon's Lawn Care

About Gordon's Lawn Care

First light in Kennewick puts the blue cables of the river bridge in silhouette while the town below is still gray, and the trucks are already rolling. Gordon's Lawn Care runs early because that is when the air is calm and the dew is off — mowing, trimming, edging, then blowing every walk and drive back to clean concrete before moving on. The route holds through the whole growing season, with fertilizing and weed control worked in where they belong and cleanups at the shoulders of the year. In a valley that measures rain in single inches, a lawn is a standing commitment, and keeping one even from curb to fence is a satisfaction that never quite wears off. By the time the heat arrives the crew is deep into the day and the finished yards are already sitting quiet.
