About Contreras Tree Landscaping LLC

On the older streets of Kennewick the shade is a resource — big canopies planted decades back, throwing pools of cool onto lawns that would otherwise scorch by mid-July. Contreras Tree Landscaping LLC works under them: mowing, trimming close around trunks and roots, edging the walk, then clearing every clipping off the concrete. Grass in dappled shade behaves nothing like grass in full sun, so the cut height changes, the seed goes down where thin patches open, and the feeding is measured to the light a yard actually gets. Afternoons here can run past a hundred degrees with the wind coming warm off the sage, which is one more reason the mowers move early and the water goes down at night. The result is a yard that stays even from the shaded side to the bright one — a quiet kind of pride, but a real one.
