Spencer's Trucking and Excavating

About Spencer's Trucking and Excavating

Snow in Kelso is an occasional guest, but when it does show up, or when freezing rain glazes the hills above the Cowlitz, the steep streets and sloping drives can turn treacherous overnight. Spencer's Trucking and Excavating brings its trucks and heavy equipment to snow removal when those storms hit. The job is pushing the snow and slush off drives and lots so people can get down to the river flats and out onto I-5. Kelso still calls itself the Smelt Capital of the World, a river town through and through, and a cleared route out is the first step back to an ordinary day. After a night of plowing, the morning light on the Cowlitz looks a little brighter.
