About Sanford Irrigation Inc

Jamestown lies in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, where the peaks wring the storms dry before they reach the shore and summer can pass for weeks without a real rain. Out along the Strait of Juan de Fuca the light is wide and bright, and a green lawn in July takes water and attention to keep. Sanford Irrigation Inc works in lawn care and irrigation here, the kind of work that turns a parched stretch of grass into something soft underfoot. On a prairie whose farms were watered by ditches cut from the Dungeness River, getting water where it needs to go is part of the local story. Come late afternoon, with the wind off the Strait and the Olympics standing blue to the south, a well-watered yard is a cool green welcome.
