About Art By Nature

The Mountain Loop Highway leaves Granite Falls heading east into cedar shade, and the town sits right on the hinge where farm valley gives way to mountain. Yards here inherit both sides of that — open sun at the front, deep green shadow at the back, and a different growth habit in each. Art By Nature reads a property that way, mowing to suit the light it actually gets, trimming the edges the shade keeps damp, and clearing what falls from the big trees overhead. The satisfaction is in a lawn that looks composed instead of merely cut, its lines following the ground rather than fighting it. In a place this green, restraint and attention do most of the work.
