About Snowcap Services LLC

Snowcap Services earns its name on the mornings after a real storm passes over Graham, when the open land between the timber stands holds snow longer than the city ever does and every driveway on every back road needs clearing before anyone can get to work. The crew starts before dawn, working headlight to headlight down gravel lanes and paved cul-de-sacs alike, pushing fresh snow off long rural driveways and the shorter, steeper ones packed into Graham's newer developments. There's a particular quiet to that hour — no traffic yet on Meridian, frost hard on the fence lines, just the plow and the sound of snow giving way. By the time the sun clears the firs to the east, most routes are open and the town can move again. It's a short season most years, but a demanding one, and the name fits the work.
