About Alex's Lawncare and Landcaping General Contractor

When the tide runs out through the narrow channel at Purdy it leaves a long shine of flats behind it, and by afternoon this stretch of Gig Harbor smells of salt and cut grass in equal measure. Alex's Lawncare and Landcaping General Contractor keeps to that rhythm — mowing, edging and trimming through the week, then hauling off whatever the yard has shed. Grass on the peninsula grows through most of the calendar, fed by mild wet air that barely lets the ground go dormant, so the work is steady rather than occasional. A lawn kept on a schedule holds its color deep into fall, and that shows from the road long before anyone walks up the drive. Steadiness is the whole idea.
