SJI Handyman

About SJI Handyman

Weather on this island arrives from the southwest, up the strait, and the west-side places out along Bailer Hill Road feel it first: wind off the water, rain in long gray sheets, then sudden clean sun. Lawns there grow tough and take a beating, and they want somebody who will turn up in either condition. SJI Handyman keeps them mown and trimmed, cuts the edge where grass meets gravel, and hauls off the yard debris after a blow. There is a real satisfaction in walking a property afterward with the wind still up and everything squared away. It is plain work, and this island rewards plain work.
