About Green Man Landscape & Design

Early on a San Juan Valley morning the fog lies in the low hayfields like spilled milk and burns off from the edges inward as the sun clears the ridge. Green Man Landscape & Design works those hours, mower still cold, dew heavy, the day's first line of cut opening behind the machine in a darker green. Mowing, trimming, edging, and the seasonal cleanups that keep a yard from vanishing under its own leavings. On an island where every open acre was cleared by somebody's hands, keeping ground open is its own inheritance. Seen from the road afterward, a finished lawn is a small and cheerful argument for order.
