SeaWeeds Lawn Care

About SeaWeeds Lawn Care

Whidbey sits in the dry shadow of the Olympics, and on an August evening at Mutiny Bay the grass takes on that pale, sun-tired gold while the water goes silver behind it. SeaWeeds Lawn Care reads a lawn by that light — cutting high through the thin part of summer, letting the turf shade its own roots, and going shorter again when the autumn rain returns to Freeland. Trimming follows the fence lines and the salal edges where the woods keep pressing in, and the borders get a real line rather than a suggestion. Clippings leave with the crew. Between the ferry landings and the bluffs there are a lot of good yards on this island, and they hold their shape when somebody watches the season as closely as the calendar.
