About TK Landscape and Lawn Service

Four Lakes takes its name from water, a scatter of small lakes set into the basalt scablands southwest of Spokane, where ponderosa pines stand over rock-strewn meadows. In May the hillsides light up yellow with arrowleaf balsamroot and meadowlarks call from the fence posts, and TK Landscape and Lawn Service is out in the thick of it. The work covers both halves of the name: landscaping that shapes beds and borders around the rock and pine, and lawn service that keeps grass mowed and edged through the dry inland summer. Thin soil over ancient lava makes every green yard here a small accomplishment. Done well, a yard sits easy in this country, as at home as the ponderosas.
