About JJG Landscaping LLC

October arrives at Fort Lewis on a wind off the Nisqually delta, carrying tideflat and wet alder, and the maples let go all at once. JJG Landscaping LLC meets that turn of the year with rakes and mowers both, taking the last cuts of the season and clearing the leaf drift out of corners, beds and gutlines of the lawn. Wet leaves left sitting will smother good grass by February, so they come up while they are still loose. The final mow of autumn is a particular pleasure, the yard emptied and squared off and put to bed for the rain. Come spring the same lawn wakes up green instead of matted, which is the quiet argument for doing the fall work well.
