About Alex Yard Services and Construction

Evening over Dumas Bay turns the water to pewter, and the salt air comes up the slope into the yards of Federal Way carrying the smell of cut grass with it. Alex Yard Services and Construction works those blocks the long way around: mowing, edging, trimming the corners a mower can't reach, then standing back to see whether the lawn reads clean all the way from the sidewalk to the fence line. There is real satisfaction in a straight line where grass meets pavement, and in a yard that looks settled rather than fussed over. The crew also takes on the heavier shaping a property sometimes asks for, the parts that need building rather than growing. Between the Sound and the freeway, one street at a time, the work adds up into a neighborhood that looks looked after.
