About Jefferies Tree Services Inc.

By late afternoon in the middle of winter, the fairways at Legion Memorial Park are already losing their light, and the big conifers lining the course start dropping ice onto the cart paths below as the temperature falls. Jefferies Tree Services Inc. works its snow removal route around those same tree-lined paths at dusk, clearing the walkways and access roads near the course before the evening freeze locks the ice in place overnight. Fallen limbs and needles under a fresh snow can hide a slick patch as easily as bare ice does, so the crew clears close to the trunk line, not just down the middle of the path. The parking areas near the clubhouse get a pass too, timed for the last golfers and dog walkers heading out before dark. Winter lingers under those trees longer than it does on the open blocks nearby, and the crew's last pass of the day always circles back to check them.
