Bainer's Branches

About Bainer's Branches

February is pruning weather — early enough that the trees have not yet pushed their new growth, and the work can run straight through the day. Bainer's Branches spends it up in the canopy, thinning limbs, lifting crowns off rooflines, taking out deadwood and hauling the brush away so the yard underneath looks larger than it did that morning. A tree cut well never looks cut at all; it simply looks like it grew that way, with the light coming through in pieces onto the ground below. The rest of the year the ladder comes down and the work shifts to shrub trimming, debris clearing and keeping the ground beneath the trees in order. Everett is home base, with calls running out to the nearby towns.
