About Arbor Vet Tree Service

Forest Park's old-growth cedars and firs hold onto Everett's coldest mornings longer than almost anywhere else in the city, dripping meltwater that refreezes into black ice on the streets below. Arbor Vet Tree Service runs a snow removal route through the neighborhoods that ring that forest, plowing driveways and clearing walkways before the shaded ice underneath those big trees has a chance to spread across the pavement. The crew knows which blocks sit in the shadow of the canopy and stay slick long past sunrise, and they plan the route around it. Parking areas near the park's trailheads get cleared early, ahead of the dog walkers and the joggers who use them daily. By midmorning, when the ice everywhere else in the city has long since given up, Forest Park's shaded blocks are usually still the last ones to let go.
