Lori's Lawn Care

About Lori's Lawn Care

Saturday mid-morning on the streets near Boise Creek: a hose running somewhere, a dog barking two houses down, and a mower making its steady laps. Lori's Lawn Care belongs to that ordinary weekly music — cutting, edging along the walk, trimming the fence corners, sweeping the clippings off the concrete before heading on. Small lawns get the same attention as big ones, because in a town this size everybody sees everybody's front yard. The best moment is the last pass, when the stripes line up and the edge along the sidewalk runs clean as a drawn line. Then the mower goes quiet and the street gets its Saturday back.
