About Nighthawk General Contractor LLC

Long before sunrise reaches the Kittitas Valley, Nighthawk General Contractor LLC is already out on it, headlights sweeping across driveways and parking lots while the rest of Ellensburg is still dark and the valley wind is at its sharpest. Winter nights here carry a particular kind of cold — dry and still between gusts, biting when the wind picks back up — and the plow work gets done in that window, before wind and traffic can complicate a fresh surface. Driveways come first, then the small commercial lots along the edges of town, cleared in the same order every storm so regulars know roughly when to expect a clean path to their door. There's a rhythm to working in the dark that daylight crews never quite develop: engine noise carrying farther, snow throwing up silver in the headlights, the valley otherwise silent except for the plow. By the time the eastern sky over the foothills starts to gray, the routes are done and the town wakes up to bare pavement.
