About Central Washington Tree Services

Ellensburg wind is a local character in its own right: it comes down the Kittitas Valley in the afternoon, leans on the cottonwoods along the Yakima River, and finds every weak limb in town. Central Washington Tree Services works with that fact in front of it, pruning for structure as much as for looks, trimming crowns back off houses and hay sheds, removing whatever the last gust proved unsound. After a storm the trucks go where the wood is down, cutting it up and carrying it out so a driveway or a field gate is usable again. In country this open a tree is shade, shelter and windbreak at once, and keeping one sound is worth the drive. Ellensburg, Kittitas, Thorp, Cle Elum and Roslyn lie along the same run.
