About Central Washington Landscaping & More

October in Ellensburg turns the old brick blocks downtown a deeper red, and every parking strip maple decides to let go at once. Central Washington Landscaping & More spends that month on its knees and behind a blower, hauling leaves out of window wells and off entryway walks before the first hard freeze glues them down. The rest of the year is mowing and edging and keeping the beds honest, but autumn is when the work is most visible and most thankless, which is exactly why they take it seriously. There is a particular pleasure in a bare, swept lawn on a cold bright morning — nothing left to do but wait for spring. They cover the town and the farm roads beyond it, in whatever the season is asking for.
