About Greencliff Landscape Co.
West of Point Edwards the ground drops fast toward the tracks, and the yards up on that bluff catch a wind off the water that keeps the grass moving all afternoon. Greencliff Landscape Co. works those sloped lots in spring, when the turf is growing faster than anyone can keep up with and the madronas below are shedding bark in strips. Mowing a hillside takes a different touch than a flat lot, and so does trimming the drop-offs and edging a drive that bends with the grade. Beds are weeded and mulched to hold on the slope, hedges are shaped, and cleanups clear the winter's accumulation off the terraces. A steep property that reads as green and even from the street took real footwork to get there.
