About Eco-Tone LLC

Darrington lives in the shadow of Whitehorse Mountain, where the Sauk comes down cold and green and the rain can fall for a week without apology. Eco-Tone LLC works those wet, deep-green yards along the valley floor — mowing grass that grows hard and fast here, cutting a clean border against the gravel, and clearing moss and alder litter out of the turf. The ground gives up an enormous amount of growth in a short summer, so keeping ahead of it takes a steady weekly turn. Beds are weeded and edged so the surrounding forest stays a backdrop rather than an advancing line. Leaving a mountain-town yard trim and open, with all that timber standing behind it, is a good day's result.
