About LC Landscaping LLC

By November the fields around Custer fill with wintering swans, white shapes scattered across wet green pasture under a low northern sky. LC Landscaping does its shaping work in that soft, rain-fed ground, laying out beds, setting borders and planting so a property keeps its structure even after the leaves come down. In this corner of Whatcom County the soil stays workable late into the year, and the rain does much of the watering. Landscaping here is about bones: a curve of edging that reads cleanly from the kitchen window, plantings placed to catch what little winter light there is. Come spring those same lines fill in, and the shape laid down in the rain finally shows its purpose.
