About Mountain View Lawns LLC

From Cusick the Pend Oreille River runs broad and slow, and the Selkirk Mountains rise beyond it, holding snow on their crests deep into June. Mountain View Lawns mows and trims the flat valley ground along the river, yards that look out on exactly the scenery the business name suggests. The growing season here is short but generous: late to start, then a rush of long, mild days when grass wants cutting every week. A well-kept lawn in Cusick isn't about showing off; it's a clean frame for the water and the peaks. On a calm summer evening the river mirrors the mountains, and the new-mown rows catch the last of the light.
