About Cougar Tree Service

The Kettle River winds past Curlew a short way from the Canadian line, and the town sits in a quiet valley of hay meadows, pine and fir in northern Ferry County. Cougar Tree Service works among those trees, taking down hazards and pruning limbs back from roofs and outbuildings, and keeps the yards around them mowed and clear. Frost comes early up here; on a September dawn the meadows go silver before the sun clears the ridge. A tree that's been looked after has a better chance of standing through a hard northern winter. When the last cut is made and the brush hauled off, a property opens back up to the long view down the valley.
