About Al's Sprinkler Co., Inc.

Covington's newer streets curl across ground that was pasture and berry field before the cul-de-sacs arrived, and in May the light there lasts until nearly nine o'clock. Al's Sprinkler Co., Inc. works those long evenings — mowing the lawns of the plateau subdivisions, squaring the turf up against driveway aprons, cutting the shaggy corners no wide deck can reach. The reward is the walk-away look: stripes lying flat and even, edges true, clippings blown off the concrete so the whole front reads clean from the street. Weeds get pulled out of the bark beds before they can set seed. Come November the crew is back for the leaves, and the yards go into the gray months already put in order.
