All That And More Tree Service

About All That And More Tree Service

On a still July morning Penn Cove turns to glass and Coupeville leans out over it from the old wharf, as though nothing ever blows through here. Anyone with a fir in the yard knows better, because Whidbey wind shapes every tree on the central island, and All That And More Tree Service reads that shaping for a living. The work runs from pruning a madrona back off a porch roof, to trimming the windbreak firs along the fields above the cove, to removing whatever the last blow left leaning. After a storm the crew cuts limbs clear of drives and fences and carries the wreck away, so a morning that started badly ends with a yard swept clean. Coupeville, San de Fuca, Greenbank, Oak Harbor and Freeland all fall inside the day's loop.
