Oasis Lawn Care

About Oasis Lawn Care

Coulee Dam sits in dry country — sagebrush, basalt walls the color of iron, and the Columbia running cold and green at the bottom of it all. A lawn out here is something a person chooses to keep, which is why Oasis Lawn Care takes the mowing seriously: cut at the right height and watched through the week, grass will hold up in a July that runs hot from breakfast until dark. Work starts early, before the heat comes up the canyon and the wind comes with it. Edges cut clean along a walkway, clippings cleared, trimming worked in around posts and rock borders — small passes that add up to a yard standing bright against all that dun-colored hillside. Oasis serves Coulee Dam and the neighboring towns of Grand Coulee, Elmer City and Electric City.
