About J A Schmidt

South of Clarkston the road runs with the river toward Asotin, past small pastures, orchards and the mouth of Asotin Creek. J A Schmidt keeps lawns along that quiet stretch and back in town both — mowing on a schedule, trimming where the mower cannot reach, edging walks and drives clean. The valley's long warm season means the grass keeps asking, and the answer is simply showing up. Cleanups in autumn take a yard down neat before the first hard frost arrives. It is steady, unglamorous work, and a well-cut lawn is the whole of the point.
