About Oddball Services

Spring rain comes down the Chewelah valley in long gray sweeps, and by the time it lifts the grass is a foot tall and everyone needs the same thing at once. Oddball Services takes on lawn work around town — mowing, trimming the corners a mower can't reach, edging, and cleaning up yards that got ahead of their owners. The awkward jobs are the interesting ones: steep side yards, ditch banks, the strip behind the shed nobody wanted to deal with. Cutting one of those back to level ground and watching the whole property square up is the reason to do it. After that it's easy to keep, week to week, right through the season.
